Kids Jiu Jitsu that builds confident, resilient kids
Structured, safe, and seriously fun. Your child learns to defend themselves, stay calm under pressure, and earn every stripe. First class free.
What your child gets
More than self-defense
Confidence
Kids learn they can handle hard things. That shows up at school, at home, and everywhere else.
Anti-bullying skills
Jiu jitsu teaches control, not striking. Kids learn to stay safe and de-escalate without throwing a punch.
Focus & discipline
Listening, respect, and following through are part of every class.
Fitness & friends
Real exercise that doesn’t feel like a workout, with teammates who become friends.

Inside a class
What a kids class looks like
- Warm-up and games that build coordination and get the wiggles out.
- Technique taught step by step by our coaches.
- Drilling with a partner so it sticks.
- Supervised live rounds for older and more experienced kids.
We teach the key traits of a lifetime martial artist: honor, respect, humility, discipline, and perseverance.
Competition team
For kids who want to compete
Competing is always optional. For kids who catch the bug, our team travels to local and national events and has brought home gold from the Arizona State Championships, UFC BJJ Opens, and more.

Parent FAQ
Questions parents ask
Is it safe?
Yes. Every class is coached, techniques are taught step by step, and kids learn to tap and stop at any time. Control and respect come first.
My child is shy or has never done a sport. Is that okay?
That’s exactly who jiu jitsu helps most. Coaches ease new kids in and pair them with friendly partners.
What should they wear to the first class?
Athletic clothes without zippers or pockets, and a water bottle. We’ll take care of the rest.
Can I watch?
Of course. Parents are welcome in the lounge area during class.
What ages do you teach?
We run classes by age and experience. Tell us your child’s age on the form and we’ll recommend the right class.
